Ypsilon Inks US deal with Animania for ‘Nanigugu’

Ypsilon Films inked a deal in the United States with the HD children’s channel Animania, which is part of the Voom platform of Rainbow Media Holdings. Animania will add the preschool series Nanigugu (52 x 2:30 mn) to the slot of kids programming.

The 3-D animation series focuses on Nani and Gugu, two friendly characters who have discovered that playing with the cloud’s shapes is a funny way to communicate and learn exciting things. The show, which aims to stimulate the imagination, targets children 2 through 5 while reinforcing curiosity, diversity, and different learning processes. Nanigugu is a new property of the production house Pataboom and is distributed worldwide by Ypsilon Films. The series is scheduled for spring 2009.
