The range will include backpacks, umbrellas, school bags and wheeled luggage featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, targeted to boys and girls ages 4 to 11.
First to market will be the backpacks, which are will launch at retail in February.
“Consumer appetite for Sonic is as strong as ever and sales are on the up across the board from toys to apparel and accessories,” says Sissel Henno, head of brand licensing, Europe, SEGA. “The U.K. is a key market for us, and following on from the success of our other Sonic licensed product ranges, we are sure that [Trademark Collections’] products will be an instant hit with Sonic’s loyal and passionate fans.”
The range from Trademark Collections is the latest in an extensive lineup for the U.K. that already includes toys, children’s apparel from Smith & Brooks and home wares from Character World.
