KISS has partnered with Figures Toy Company for a second series of action figures, in a deal brokered by Live Nation Merchandise, the band's global licensing agent.

The new action figure line will be reminiscent of the action figures released in the ’70s by the Mego Toy Company, based on the first KISS album from 1974, “KISS.”

"Our second release will have the retro look from the 1970s, but updated with more detailed costumes,” says Anthony Balasco, chief financial officer, Figures Toy Company. “Future releases will cover all time periods in KISS's 40-year musical career from 1972 to 2012."

The KISS Series 2 collectible figures will be available at toy stores, comic shops, music stores and online retailers beginning in October.

Live Nation has also announced two new music deals for Led Zeppelin and AC/DC.

Led Zeppelin will release a film version of their 2007 reunion gig at London's O2 Arena, called Celebration Day. The film will be shown in theaters beginning Oct. 17 and be released on DVD Nov. 19.

AC/DC will release their first live album in 20 years, “AC/DC Live At River Plate,” on Nov. 20. The album was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in December 2009 at one of the largest shows from the Black Ice World Tour.
