As reported in the Brand Licensing Europe show daily from License! Global, Turner CN Enterprises has picked up the EMEA licensing rights (excluding Spain and Portugal) to the 3-D musical comedy series "Jelly Jamm." The show is co-produced by Bandai, which is also on board as master toy licensee.

Turner Broadcasting has acquired the 52x11 nursery series, which it plans to air on Boomerang in more than 130 countries. Aimed at kids ages 3 to 6, Jelly Jamm is set on a magical planet called Jambo, the "origin of all music in the universe." The comedy series focuses on music and friendship through the adventures of five friends who live on Jambo. Co-produced by Vodka Capital, Secuoyas and TV Espania, the series is the latest brainchild of David Cantolla, creator and director of the series "Pocoyo."

"From day one, our aspiration has been to transform Jelly Jamm into a highly recognizable international kids' entertainment brand," says Steven J. Posner, co-founder and managing partner at Vodka Capital. "It's a tremendous opportunity to have Turner Broadcasting on board and it's very exciting to have such a great partner to help us turn our dream into a reality."

Alan Fenwick, vice president of Turner CN Enterprises, adds: "We've taken our time to find the perfect brand to mark our entry into the preschool market. Jelly Jamm has all the key attributes of a highly commercial property and I'm sure that it will make its mark in this highly competitive sector when it launches at retail."
