TCBY, the frozen yogurt restaurant chain, has appointed Global Icons to head up its brand extension program.
Global Icons' program for TCBY will focus on new food offerings, as well as non-food product lines. The franchise recently opened self-serve format stores and is testing a new daily prepared refrigerated Yovana Simply Yogurt product in fresh fruit parfaits and smoothies.
"Global Icons will capitalize on the reinvigorated growth of the frozen yogurt industry and help drive TCBY's initiative in positioning the brand for growth," says Bill McClinton, senior vice president at Global Icons. "The TCBY licensing program will provide the health-conscious public searching for a better-for-you alternative more options and avenues to live a healthier, active and balanced lifestyle."
