Andy Bond Departs Asda for Good

Asda has announced that its chairman, Andy Bond, is leaving the firm just six months after relinquishing the role of Chief Executive to Andy Clarke and becoming its part time chairman. Bond has worked at Asda for 16 years and tributes have been paid to his skill as a retailer and a leader. He is said to be interested in working with entrepreneurial businesses, such as the cycling goods retailer Wiggle, of which he is chair.
