BabyTV Signs First Apparel Deals

Fox International’s BabyTV channel has announced its first two apparel deals that will see the brand arrive on children’s clothing in Latin America later this year.

Apolo Zona Libre has signed on as BabyTV’s clothing licensee for in Central and Latin America, and retailer La Polar will launch a range of BabyTV apparel in its retail stores throughout Chile.

Both agreements were negotiated by BabyTV’s agent P&L Global and Fox Licensing & Merchandising, a business unit of Fox Latin American Channels.

 “With our new style guide now completed we have a large selection of designs and artwork available that work particularly well on apparel,” says Ralf Kies, director global licensing and merchandising, BabyTV. “Hence we are looking forward to seeing our first ranges of branded clothing on retailers’ shelves before the end of this year.”
