Bethesda has signed a deal with One61 Studio, the advanced concepts division of Bioworld, for a line of wearable tech based on its game “Fallout.”
November 16, 2018
The “Fallout” Superfan Smartwatch was inspired by the details of The RobCo Pip-Boy, short for Personal Information Processor, which is found in the game, and features applications that aid wearers in the roles of quest, battle management and statistics with wellness-oriented features such as:
Crime fighting, which helps to unlock exclusive content and allows users to fight crime by achieving health goals through the step-tracking feature;
Patrol Reminder that encourages wearers to walk when they’ve been seated for too long and;
Sleep Monitoring, which encourages users to rest before their next battle with heart-rate detection capabilities.
The watch can connect to Bluetooth, iOS and Android. The “Fallout” Superfan Smartwatch rolls out Nov. 20.
