Playtime by Eimmie Collabs with Capezio for ‘Ballerina Eimmie’ Doll

Capezio and Playtime by Eimmie reveal an exclusive line of dance-inspired dolls and accessories.

Award-winning doll company Playtime by Eimmie and premier dancewear manufacturer Capezio have teamed up for an exclusive doll collection, with the first doll, Ballerina Eimmie, launching this year.

“We are honored to be partnering with a 132-year-old globally recognized American icon,” says Dovi Kutoff, chief executive officer, Orange Onions, parent company of Playtime by Eimmie. “The Eimmie team did an exceptional job capturing the essence of the Capezio dancer, and the Capezio team is delightful to work with. We look forward to our partnership enhancing the lives of all those who love dance."

The doll line marks the first collaboration between the two brands and will celebrate the self-expression of dance. Both companies hope to inspire children’s creativity, imagination and physical, cognitive and emotional aptitude. The Playtime by Eimmie and Capezio collection boasts attention to detail on the doll’s Capezio-branded clothing.

“Capezio is excited to be partnering with Playtime by Eimmie on this exciting extension into the toy and games segment,” says Mark Prospero, licensing manager, Capezio. “We are also delighted by the attention to detail, the quality and the reverence Playtime by Eimmie pays to the heritage of the Capezio brand.”

The first 18-inch doll in the collection, Ballerina Eimmie, dons Capezio-branded dancewear and will be available this holiday season.
