Mattel, Microsoft Build 'Minecraft' Partnership

The "Minecraft" Minecart Mayhem action set will be released this spring. The set includes a minecart vehicle, an exclusive 3.25-inch Steve figure and eight papercraft blocks that players can use to create environments.

Also launching this spring is the new lineup of "Minecraft" characters in a 3.25-inch scale. These figures have created using the video game's signature pixelated design. Movable joints allow characters to strike action poses, and each figure comes with two papercraft blocks and an accessory.

Children and their parents can go to mattelplayroom.com and download a page of 'Minecraft’-style track segments that they can then use to create their own custom Minecart Railway layouts.
