Mega Brands and HBO have announced a new line of Mega Construx construction sets based on “Game of Thrones.”

The construction sets are part of a multiyear, global licensing partnership between HBO and Mega Brands. Items in the line recreate scenes from the series with authentic building sets that feature micro action figures with hyper-articulation and unique joint design for optimum poseability.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with HBO to launch the ‘Game of Thrones’ construction sets, a new line that allows fans, older collectors and experienced builders to experience the world of ‘Game of Thrones’ like never before,” says Bisma Ansari, senior vice president, Mega Brands. “We’ve created sets that bring the characters and jaw-dropping locations to life with details that could only be possible through Mega Construx.”

Two of the construction sets will be available through an online presale after this year’s Comic-Con followed by a major-retailer push in the fall. The first set available for presale reimagines the Battle Beyond the Wall, and the second set brings Daenerys and her dragon to life.

The “Game of Thrones” set follows a Pokémon Mega Construx line that debuted earlier this year.
