Bandai's Pocoyo Toys Hit Retailers

A toy line based on animated series "Pocoyo" is rolling out to stores in the U.S. and Canada from master licensee Bandai America.

The range includes a 6-inch mini plush assortment, squeeze n' play plush, bath figures, water taxi and bump n' go racing car. The toys are available now at retailers such as Toys"R"Us, Toyrus.com and Amazon.com.

"Pocoyo is just the kind of enriching, high-quality toy line that Bandai is famous for," says Tor Sirset, Bandai America's vice president of marketing for girls and preschool. "Bandai's preschool properties encourage young children to explore the world around them and to imagine the world beyond their everyday experiences."

"Pocoyo" is co-produced by Zinkia and ITV Studios Global Entertainment. The series airs on Nick Jr in the U.S., as well as PBS, Univision and Discovery Familia.
