The alliance was first announced at Brand Licensing Europe in October.
As part of the deal, Sony Music Entertainment Espana will distribute the animated series in a host of European and Latin American territories (excluding Brazil).
The two Sony divisions will work together to create “Pingu”-themed products and promotions targeting the European markets.
