Kids’ sports and scholastic organization will expand into licensing with apparel, school supplies, collectibles, toys and more.

Pop Warner Little Scholars, the organization known for its youth football, cheer/dance and scholastic programs, has tapped Ignite2X to develop an array of licensed merchandise for the Pop Warner brand.

Through the partnership, Ignite2X will aim to secure a wide range of sports and related fan and lifestyle products, including apparel and accessories, school supplies, home accents, collectibles, toys, fan accessories, electronic games, apps and more.

The licensing program will also encompass both the Pop Warner football and cheer divisions.

“As part of our strategic initiative, Ignite2X has provided brand development, business strategy and sponsorship development. The new Pop Warner is ready for the next 100 years with many of the new opportunities that have been identified,” says Jon Butler, executive director, Pop Warner. “We like the passion and knowledge that they have been developing with our team.”

In addition to developing licensing programs for Pop Warner, Ignite2X will also serve as the official sponsorship marketing agency for the brand.

“We all know somebody that has played Pop Warner football or participated in cheer and dance,” says Alita Friedman licensing director, Ignite2X. “There has been a strong demand for official merchandise and we’re going to provide this to our families, fans and alumni through great partnerships with licensees.”
