Blue Note Records inked an agreement with Fusion Licensing for the development of new business opportunities that can leverage the label’s 70-year heritage and record of excellence and innovation in music recording. In addition to apparel, accessories, watches, stationery, gift, collectibles, and home furnishings, opportunities exist for audio speakers, other consumer electronics products, and high-end musical instruments as well as spirit- and tobacco-related products and promotional relationships.
Adidas also pays tribute to Blue Note with the launch of a unique campaign called Sounds of the City. Blue Note was selected among six iconic American record labels for a series of apparel including sneakers, shirts, and jackets. Continuing a long-standing connection with music, Adidas Originals created their Sounds of the City collection with styles that pay homage to musical icons and their distinctive styles. Taking design hints from jazz musician’s styles of yesteryear, elegant suiting fabrics and woven materials were combined to preset this style alongside Blue Note’s iconic design language.
