This year at Licensing Expo 2024, seats at the License Global theater quickly filled up for a fireside keynote conversation with Paris Hilton and business partner, Bruce Gersh, to share techniques and strategies on how Hilton and her team have continuously produced successful content and consumer products and organized global licensing partnerships in multiple categories.

“I am the OG,” says Hilton on being one of the first influencers. “I am the one who invented this game (licensing).”

One of her licensing strategies has been prioritizing partnering with companies and professionals who share the same values and are generally good people.
At the keynote, Hilton also announced the launch of her new kid-friendly animated series and franchise, “Paris & Pups,” which is a result of a strategic partnership between Hilton and 11:11 Media. The media company, which Hilton and Gersh created, is a multi-billion-dollar company that focuses on culture and started with 45 branded stores and 19 product lines covering categories such as television, podcasts, digital, licensing, NFTs, music and more. HappyNest has also joined the partnership and is an independent, franchise-first kids and family entertainment media company.

The idea for “Paris & Pups” came to life through Paris’ family and real-life Chihuahuas – Prada, Peter Pan, Harajuku, Dolce, Tinkerbell and Prince Tokyo Gizmo.

“Everything that I pursue and work on is representative of my life and my brand overall,” says Hilton. “Being a mom of several fur babies, entering into the children and family space felt like a natural step. I’m looking forward to creating fun, children-centric stories around their iconic lives. This will be a fun-filled journey with lovable pets that are at the core of my family.”

However, along with the release of the new franchise, she heavily emphasized in the keynote that these partnerships and collaborations could not have happened without the people she works with every day.

“I am involved in everything, but my team helps me get my dreams over the finish line,” says Hilton.

11:11 Media is taking meetings at Licensing Expo to look for potential partners and new collaborations at booth D123.
