New week of events surrounding Licensing Expo aims to help professionals get the most from their time in Vegas.

UBM’s Global Licensing Group has revealed plans for Licensing Week™, taking place May 22-25 in conjunction with Licensing Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Licensing Week will feature new and returning educational and networking events surrounding Licensing Expo, May 23-25, to offer a slate of business-building opportunities for attendees and exhibitors. The events are designed to enable licensing professionals to take full advantage of their time in Las Vegas with more industry events, networking opportunities, exclusive parties and invitation-only Entertainment Showcases.

Hasbro Consumer Products will kick off the weeklong event at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 22, with the first invite-only Entertainment Showcase, which will feature the company’s upcoming projects and property debuts. Additionally, Hasbro Consumer Products will also move into a larger meeting space on Level 3 of the convention center at Licensing Expo and will meet with existing and future partners over the course of the next three days.

Other companies that will be hosting private Entertainment Showcases during Licensing Week include NBCUniversal Brand Development, Cartoon Network Enterprises, Mattel, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Disney Consumer Products, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Nickelodeon and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products. All of these showcases will be invitation only.

Licensing Expo, sponsored by the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association, will remain the centerpiece of the week. The show floor, which will host more than 5,000 brands from all categories and countries around the world, will feature a number of new exhibitors include Auldey Toys, Hang Ten, Line Friends and Toon Goggles, among many others. Returning exhibitors include Iconix, Cartoon Network Enterprises, The Joester Loria Group, Nickelodeon and more.
