In a deal brokered by Authentic Brands Group, Hart Schaffner Marx has expanded its partnership with Peerless Clothing. Authentic Brands Group brokered the deal.

Under the terms of the agreement, Peerless will absorb the license of Hart Schaffner Marx while the W Diamond Group will continue to manufacture the brand’s men’s tailored clothing in Illinois.

Peerless has also entered into a long-term manufacturing agreement with the W Diamond Group.

For the last five years, ABG, Peerless and Hart Schaffner Marx have worked together with Peerless overseeing the merchandising and consumer-facing support while W Diamond Group spearheaded the manufacturing, distribution and customer service functions. To support the expansion, W Diamond is building a new manufacturing plant in Des Plaines, Ill.
