Content and rights management company ADK Emotions NY has appointed specialist communications agency License to PR to manage its trade media communications and enhance its positioning as a company with expertise in bringing Japanese animated IPs to the global market.

The London-based PR agency will provide a retained press office charged with developing a targeted B2B strategy to drive awareness of ADK Emotion’s full service offering that includes media placement and marketing, creative planning, localization and consumer products licensing.

“ADK Emotions is a dynamic business with a very interesting story to tell and we are delighted to be the agency chosen to tell it,” says Louise O’Shea, managing director, License to PR. “The company is a key influence in the resurgence of Japanese animated IPs and we look forward to working with their expert team to drive communications that will help take its portfolio to the next level.”

The agency will also shine a light on the role that ADK Emotions plays in building and sustaining the success of the long-running anime franchise “Beyblade,” which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2021.  The press office will be supplemented by strategic media relations campaigns timed to coincide with key industry trade shows.

“ADK Emotions is a specialist business dedicated to transforming Japanese animated IPs into global franchises,” says Shawn Wada, president and chief executive officer, ADK Emotions NY.

“As our plans take shape for the 20th anniversary of ‘Beyblade’ in 2021, we are excited to have License to PR on board to assist us on our mission to bring amazing Anime brands to new and ever-expanding audiences worldwide.”
