Legends Acquires MainGate

Legends has acquired event retail merchandise company Maingate.

MainGate will integrate into Legends’s existing hospitality experience division—led by Dan Smith executive and President, Dan Smith, Legends Hospitality The goal of the deal is to expand on MainGate’s existing efforts in the industry and assimilate the company into Legends current retail merchandise business operations.

MainGate’s current client portfolio

includes major professional sports leagues and teams across the NFL, NBA, NHL; collegiate properties and its governing body the NCAA; along National Hot Rod Association and International Speedway Corporation (a NASCAR property) as well as media and consumer brands.
