Roku, the creators of the streaming Internet TV players, is teaming with TV manufacturers TCL and Hisense to create Roku TVs.

Using the same principles as its streaming players, Roku TV is designed to remove layers for a more streamlined experience. The Roku TV home screen will brings all available content sources together in one place, and the remote will feature 20 buttons, half the number of traditional TVs. Users can also navigate Roku TV using their mobile devices.

Roku TV will also have full access to the Roku Channel Store that includes more than 31,000 movies and 1,200 channels.

Models ranging from 32 to 55 inches will be available in major retail stores in the U.S. starting this fall.
