Cannabis and hemp product company PRØHBTD have announced a new partnership with licensing agency Beanstalk.

To officially mark the start of the deal, Beanstalk is introducing two PRØHBTD brands to the licensing community at Licensing Expo 2019; Hempathy, a hemp-based cosmeceutical line, and Ceeby Dee’s, a hemp-derived lifestyle dietary supplement.

Beanstalk’s role in the partnership will be to seek new partners to extend PRØHBTD’s presence into new markets including health and beauty, food, apparel, accessories and home decor.

This multifaceted deal will not only bring global licensing expertise to PRØHBTD as well as a large portfolio of licensed hemp product opportunities, but will also give Beanstalk’s consultancy division, Blueprint, access to the brand’s extensive knowledge of the growing cannabis, hemp and CBD market.

“In North America, we are in the branded products phase of our industry, and building global brands will require sophisticated and creative licensing programs,” says Drake Sutton-Shearer, chief executive officer, PRØHBTD. “The Beanstalk team are incredible world-class partners with a history of success that is second to none. We’re honored to be working together to not only bring our brands to life around the world but also to help educate their clients and help them succeed in our complex industry.”

During Licensing Expo 2019, the partnership will be further expanded as Sutton-Shearer joins Allison Ames, president and chief executive officer, Beanstalk, and Craig Binkley, president, PRØworks (the PRØHBTD consumer brands group) at Licensing University on Wednesday to discuss the opportunities within the hemp and cannabis landscape.
