The Hooks is celebrating 70 years of Whataburger with a licensed collection of merchandise inspired by the restaurant.

The collection, called “Celebrate Whataburger” includes the orange and white branding and the Texas-inspired logo the brand has been known for over the past 70 years. It is available now on Hooks’ online shop.

“The Corpus Christi Hooks and Whataburger share a deep-rooted partnership as two cultural staples in South Texas and beyond,” Wes Weigle, general manager, Hooks told KiiiTV. “When we announced a renewed 15-year partnership in Mar. 2019, we proudly incorporated the famous orange and white pinstripes around Whataburger Field inside and out to strengthen that bond. The Celebrate Whataburger Collection is a collaboration that now allows fans of the Hooks and Whataburger to represent both brands, each of which originated right here in Corpus Christi.”
