Kodak is working with Dogfish Head Craft Brewing for an alternative way processing its Super 8 Film with the beer company’s SuperEight beer.

Inspired by Super 8 film stock, the craft beer is a 5.3% ABV Gose beer made with prickly pear, mango, boysenberry, blackberry, raspberry, elderberry, kiwi juices, toasted quinoa and red Hawaiian sea salt. The beer is high in Vitamin C and more acidic, which aids in film development.

By using the beer in film, Kodak says the footage becomes more textured and grainy. To get the recipe for the Dogfish Head SuperEight film development, click here.
