Francesca Leoni will join the company in early 2018 from Valentino, where she currently serves as the worldwide communications director.

NORTH AMERICA–Michael Kors Holdings has tapped Francesca Leoni to serve as the senior vice president and chief brand officer for the Michael Kors brand, effective Feb. 5, 2018.

Currently, Leoni is the worldwide communications director for Valentino, a position she has held since 2010. In this role, she was responsible for the development and implementation of all global communications initiatives and events, including PR and marketing.

Prior to Valentino, Leoni was the worldwide public relations and events director for Bulgari. She was also the senior director of public relations and culture events for Hermès and has held numerous PR roles at Malo.

“Francesca is an outstanding addition to our team,” says Michael Kors. “She has tremendous experience in the communications and marketing arena with luxury brands, and is the ideal choice to communicate the company’s vision, drive collaboration and inspire our global consumers.”
