Former Mattel exec will take on the development of APAC, LatAm and Canada across all categories of business for the division.

Warner Bros. Consumer Products has named John Louie to the position of senior vice president of international.

In his new role, Louie will be responsible for the development and overall management of Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Canada across all categories of business. He will also implement and execute global and regional strategies and work with leaders across various departments to drive revenue growth and long-term brand building.

Prior to joining WBCP, Louie worked at Mattel, where he held positions both domestically and internationally. He most recently served as vice president of strategic development and also served as vice president and general manager of Mattel Australia/New Zealand. Louie has also held positions with The Walt Disney Company, Bain and Company, Goldman Sachs and McKinsey.

“Louie’s strategic business acumen and experience in managing international territories will be instrumental in growing our business globally, which continues to be a priority for the division,” says Pam Lifford, president, WBCP.
