Publicists Céline Xerri-Brook and Lisa Hryniewicz are teaming up to launch a project-based corporate PR service for international entertainment companies.

Together the new partners have more than 25 years of experience in managing international press for clients in the TV, film, licensing, toy and channel businesses, across all genres. Both Xerri-Brook and Hryniewicz are native Spanish speakers and are fluent in French and Italian.

They will continue to manage their existing clients under Koko Media (owned by Hryniewicz) and Magena Media (owned by Xerri-Brook), independently from the new venture.

Hryniewicz entered the TV business in 1990 and later founded Salsa Distribution, which was the first European-based distribution company specializing exclusively in the Latin market. When Salsa was acquired by TV Loonland in 2000, Lisa set up their distribution division and then created Koko Media, a London-based PR agency and media consultancy, in 2009.

A native Gibraltarian, Xerri-Brook’s first foray into PR began in 1995 when she was appointed managing director for SSA Public Relations, an L.A. based PR agency. She established their London office and coordinated the company’s international activities for over five years before setting up as a freelance consultant in 2000, and then launching Magena Media in 2008, which she continues to manage today.
