DHX Media has hired brand and marketing executive Tor Bushell in the role of brand director as it prepares to ramp up U.K. and worldwide licensing activity for its newly acquired properties including In the Night Garden, Teletubbies, Abney & Teal and Dipdap.

She has a wealth of experience in the preschool market having started her career marketing manager for VTech U.K., responsible both for major product launches as well as key licensing partnerships with the major studios. She then joined Hit Entertainment, where she was promoted to brand marketing and retail development director for Thomas & Friends and spearheaded the Thomas 65th anniversary campaign across EMEA before being promoted to managing all aspects of the Thomas brand globally.
