DreamWorks Animation has tapped Talking Rain Beverage and Sensible Portions for branded drinks and snacks featuring its upcoming film Trolls.
First, Talking Rain, the maker of Sparkling Ice flavored sparkling waters, will launch a branded campaign, called “UnconTROLLable Flavor.” The campaign will feature a variety of elements including a sweepstakes, limited edition product packaging, advertising, in-store marketing support, field marketing and a shopper rewards program that will offer more than 3,000 prizes throughout the campaign.
“We are absolutely delighted to be working with DreamWorks once again, and are so pleased to be involved with a film that shares a message so reflective of our own,” says Nina Morrison, vice president, public relations and community relations, Sparkling Ice. “Like the Trolls, Sparkling Ice is a brand that encourages individuality and embraces the different personalities, flavors and attitudes for ‘color our world.’”
Meanwhile, Sensible Portion’s snack brand Garden Veggie Snacks will feature a host of the film’s characters on its packaging, which will be available on a variety of sizes and flavors. The brand will also support the film with digital advertising, sampling events and a consumer sweepstakes.
Both marketing campaigns are now active ahead of the movie’s release, Nov. 4.
