The production company has partnered with ABC Television Australia and Australian producer A Stark Production to develop the award-winning graphic novel series from Gestalt Comics,
The Deep
, into a CGI animated children’s series.
“The Deep” will follow the adventures of a family of underwater explorers who seek to unravel the mysteries of the deep sea. The series will be targeted to kids ages
Technicolor, ABC Television and A Stark Production will develop stories for CGI 8 to 12.
A second project from the animation studio, developed in partnership with Mercury Filmworks, is the 2D preschool series “Chamelia,” based on the book series from Ethan Long.
“Chamelia” stars 6-year-old chameleon Chamelia who, contrary to the nature of chameleons, would rather stand out than blend in.
