SEGA, the company behind Sonic the Hedgehog, will host a panel discussing the 25-year history of its iconic character at this year’s SXSW event in Austin, Texas.
The Sonic the Hedgehog 25 Year Anniversary panel will feature speakers including the original creators, developers and voice actors from the game and TV series as they offer anecdotes and insight. SEGA will also present an in-depth look at Sonic’s history across gaming, TV, merchandise and more.
The full panel includes:
Aaron Webber–Sonic social media manager
Takashi Iizuka–head of Sonic team
Yuji Naka–Sonic’s original creator
Austin Keys–director, product development
Roger Craig Smith–voice of Sonic The Hedgehog
Mike Pollock–voice of Dr. Eggman
The panel will take place on March 19.
