Nickelodeon has announced the finalists of its second annual writing program, which offers aspiring TV writers the chance to hone their skills at one of the world's top kids' networks.
Nick Writing Program participants will have hands-on interaction with executives, writing spec scripts and pitching story ideas. Winners will also get the opportunity to meet Nickelodeon series creators, work in writers' rooms and attend show tapings, all while serving in a salaried position for up to one year.
Successful alumni from the program include Gabriel Garza and Jonathan Butler, the creators of Nickelodeon's original comedy series "Bella and the Bulldogs."
The winner will be selected after one more round of interviews.
