Nelvana Enterprises and Spin Master are teaming up to co-develop the new girls' preschool series "Little Charmers."

The CGI animated series will debut on Treehouse in Canada and on Nickelodeon in territories worldwide beginning in early 2015.

Nelvana and Spin Master, who previously teamed on the boys' action brand Bakugan, will co-create the 80 x 11-minute CGI-animated series for girls aged 2 to 7.

Nelvana Studio will produce the series while Spin Master will develop and manufacture a multi-faceted toy line for the brand that will include dolls, play sets, apparel and accessories. Toy are expected to roll out at mass retail in fall 2015.

The series stars Hazel, who along with her two friends, is on her way to becoming a full-fledged Charmer. The trio of “charmers-in-training” embarks on spellbinding adventures that always stir up funny debacles.

“Spin Master is thrilled to be announcing our foray into girls’ entertainment with the fabulous and sparkly Little Charmers,” said Jennifer Dodge, vice president and executive producer, Spin Master Entertainment. “With strong, aspirational female characters, we believe that Little Charmers will be a great success for Nick Jr. worldwide and will create strong desire for girls everywhere to immerse themselves in the Little Charmer world."
