Retailer debuts apparel for new Netflix series.
The "Dinotrux"–inspired line, which is now available at Gymboree stores and online, includes a range of coordinated looks focusing on the key characters in the series– Ty and Revvit. Among the products included the range are tees, jeans, hats, sneakers and backpacks. DreamWorks has also created a "Dinotrux" coloring and activity set and four pop-up books, available exclusively at Gymboree.
“We are thrilled to be DreamWorks’ exclusive apparel partner, helping to launch a complete 'Dinotrux' experience for families,” says Betsy Schumacher, general manager, Gymboree. “At Gymboree, we love to tell stories through our collections, so it was an exciting opportunity for us to take inspiration from Ty and Revvit’s adventures and create a line of the quality, play-tested styles that we are known for.”
To celebrate the launch, Gymboree is hosting special shoppingevents at 25 select stores across the U.S. and Canada. On Sept. 12, fans can shop the collection, watch "Dinotrux" on Gymboree TVs, be one of the first to play with the Power Revvit toys from Mattel, and bring "Dinotrux" characters to life in 3D using the DreamWorks "Color" app and Gymboree’s custom coloring sheets.
“We couldn’t think of a better home for the first 'Dinotrux' collection than Gymboree," says Ann Buckingham, global head of product development, DreamWorks Animation. "The line is a perfect match for this playful, action-packed show, with Gymboree’s styles sure to keep young fans outfitted for their own daily adventures.”
