Buzz Lightyear, Jack Sparrow and Mr. Incredible were just some of the cast of characters who made an appearance on the White Cliffs of Dover, signaling the start of the first Digital Disney Parade in support of the launch of the studio’s new gaming platform Disney Infinity in the U.K.

The characters were projected in an illumination that stood 80-meters high and 500-meters wide in the first leg of the digital parade. The digitally projected characters then headed to London where they projected throughout the city.

The parade’s full line up included Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story’s Jessie, Pirates of the Caribbean’s Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Monsters University’s Mike and Sulley and The Lone Ranger and Tonto.

“Disney Infinity creates a virtual toy box where fans can play with all their favorite characters together and design their own adventures. What better way to celebrate the launch of the game in the U.K. than with the first Digital Disney Parade, showing the characters making their own fun in London.”

Disney Infinity was released Friday and is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation3 and Nintendo’s Wii, Wii U and 3DS systems, as well as mobile devices.
