Collegiate Licensing Company, the licensing arm of IMG College, has announced that it will extend its partnership with its first client, The University of Alabama, by 10 years.

The school is CLC’s current top-selling institution, with a licensing program that has generated more than $98 million since its inception in 1981. According to CLC, royalties have increased 83 percent in the last five years and 250 percent since 2005, with official Crimson Tide merchandise sold in more than 7,000 retail locations.

“It means so much to everyone at CLC that The University of Alabama continues to entrust us with one of the preeminent sports brands,” says Cory Moss, senior vice president and managing director, CLC. “We are very excited to develop creative new programs and initiatives that will continue to grow the University’s licensing program.”

CLC, the leading collegiate licensing agency in the U.S., represents nearly 200 collegiate institutions nationwide, and has signed more than 25 new school deals thus far in 2015.
