Each local e-commerce site features an assortment of Star Trek products from local licensees alongside fan favorite gear from around the world, including product ranges from retro t-shirts to novelty items to home entertainment.
“Star Trek is a global icon and its fandom is without borders,” says Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBS Consumer Products. “Providing fans with better access to the best selection of Star Trek products will expand retail distribution and improve engagement.”
The e-commerce shops have already launched with Merkando in Germany and MusicToday in the U.K. Sites in Brazil and Japan are scheduled to follow in the coming weeks from partners Band-Up and Tokugawa respectively.
