CBS Consumer Products continued its series of live events based on the Next Top Model franchise with Sweden’s Next Top Model Live, which took place April 26-28 in Stockholm.

The Swedish event, which followed up the success of similar events in Britain and Toronto, was hosted by TV3, broadcaster of the spin-off series “Top Model Sverige.”

The Next Top Model Live interactive fashion experience brings the television show to life in a three-day weekend of beauty and shopping. Fans can catch up with the Top Model contestants and experience what it feels like to be a real supermodel by participating in free makeovers, strutting on the catwalk, getting beauty advice from industry experts and finding out how to break into the modeling industry.

The first event, Britain’s Next Top Model Live, was attended by thousands of fans in October 2010.

“At its heart, the Next Top Model brand is about making fashion accessible to everyone. Putting the franchise in a live setting is an engaging way of doing this, and if the success of our London show is any indication, this is going to continue to be a hit,” says Liz Kalodner, executive vice president and general manager, CBS Consumer Products.
