Vladimir Gorbulya has been promoted to chief executive officer of Animaccord Group. Gorbulya previously served as the company’s head of licensing and vice president.

In his new role, Gorbulya will oversee the offices of Animaccord Group in the U.S., Cyprus and Russia, while working to increase the company’s business diversification in 2019 and beyond. He will also explore and acquire new animated properties to stimulate overall brand development and expansion into global markets and across multiple areas of licensing.

Gorbulya joined Animaccord in 2012 with plans to develop and promote Animaccord’s “Masha and the Bear” property worldwide with a focus on licensing of consumer products, media and promotional deals.

During his tenure, Animaccord has helped to grow "Masha and the Bear" form a local brand to an international hit.
