GLOBAL–Dr. Seuss Enterprises has tapped Comme des Garçons for its first luxury designer collaboration, celebrating the Christmas season with four t-shirts featuring The Grinch.
The Dr. Seuss collaboration is a part of the brand’s PLAY line. Available in both adult and children’s sizes, the collection is on sale now exclusively at select Dover Street Market and Comme des Garçons locations in Tokyo, New York, London, Paris, Singapore and Beijing. Purchasers will also receive a shopping bag featuring additional Comme des Garçons and The Grinch artwork.
“We were ecstatic when Comme des Garçons came to us and asked to collaborate on their holiday range together,” says Susan Brandt, president, Dr. Seuss Enterprises. “We know Dr. Seuss would approve of such a creative and influential brand bringing The Grinch into the high fashion arena. Both brands live in surrealist worlds aesthetically, working together makes perfect sense.”
