ASPCA Appoints New Director

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has appointed Helene Gordon as senior director of licensing and retail development.

Gordon more recently worked for Peanuts Worldwide where she worked in both domestic and international business development and brand management. Helene began her career with The Jim Henson Company, and in the 20 years since has worked for companies such as Nickelodeon, Scholastic and children’s apparel company Happy Kids.

“We are looking forward to tapping into Helene’s expertise and her 20 years of experience in the licensing industry,” says Elysia Howard, vice president of marketing and licensing, ASPCA. “Helene’s proven track record of excellence in licensing and retail development at esteemed companies such as The Jim Henson Company, Nickelodeon, Scholastic and most recently Peanuts Worldwide, will be a crucial resource as we continue to grow our licensing program that helps support the life-saving work the ASPCA does each day.”
