BurdaIntermedia Merchandising has been appointed as the German licensing agent for the U.K. preschool brand Deer Little Forest and is launching its representation this week at the Spielwarenmesse Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

The agency appointment signals the first major pan-European expansion for the brand.

Burda will represent all licensing rights in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland.

First launched as a licensing brand at Brand Licensing Europe in 2013, Deer Little Forest has already generated a range of deals, both in the U.K. and abroad inclduing t-shirts in the "T-Shirt Booth" charity app and greeting cards at Rizzoli Bookstore (Somerset House.

Worldwide rights are managed by Koko Media; U.S. rights are represented by Think Tank Emporium.
