New Fragrance Races to Shelves
Elizabeth Arden, Inc., will create the first motor sports fragrance, Daytona
500, in a deal with the International Speedway Corporation (ISC). Licensing
agent Brand Sense Partners, LLC, initiated the deal. First products are due on
shelf in mid-tier department stores in time for Father?s Day and will roll out
to other channels of distribution throughout the year. Additionally, the
company will utilize its ISC relationship to do on-site marketing, as well as
print and broadcast advertising.
TBS Hooks Up with Cingular Wireless
Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., signed its most extensive video distribution
deal to date with Cingular Wireless. TBS, Inc., will provide branded video
content from CNN; Cartoon Network; Adult Swim; NASCAR.com;
and for the first time, Turner Classic Movies. Video content will be made
available to customers as part of Cingular?s Unlimited Data Plan. Content from
NASCAR.com will be offered to customers as a premium channel.
