Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA has appointed Shooting Stars as its licensing representative in the Middle East region.
Shooting Stars will be responsible for licensing WBCP’s vast portfolio of classic brands, films and new theatrical releases in connection with merchandise the region, working with brands like Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry and Scooby-Doo, the DC Comics Superheroes, including Batman and Superman; and tentpole theatrical releases such as the upcoming Man of Steel and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

“WBCP has had a successful licensing business in the Middle East for many years; however, we feel that the only way to fully exploit the vast opportunities that the region presents is to have a local representative in place,” says Francois Simonetta, director of agents and developing markets, WBCP, EMEA. “We’re very excited to work with Shooting Stars to grow our licensing business in the region.”
