Nickelodeon Consumer Products has teamed up with Toys"R"Us for a Last Airbender summer promotion in Canada, the U.K., France and Germany.

The TRU stores have released action figures and role-play items from Spin Master (master toy partner), as well as the movie's video game from THQ. In addition, the promotion includes exclusive in-store point-of-sale materials, online banners at Nick.com and a co-branded television commercial airing on Nick networks in the four territories. A discount promotion for the Spin Master toys will also be offered at U.K.-based stores.

The Last Airbender has already hit Canada and France, and is scheduled to premiere next month in the U.K. (Aug. 13) and Germany (Aug. 19).

  • Viacom Brand Solutions International has partnered with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for a summer campaign and competition for PlayStation Portable. The Summer Tweens titled campaign includes brand spots and a sponsorship for the PSP Essentials game range released this summer. (seasons 2 and 3), as well as English-language programming for "Dora the Explorer," "Wonder Pets!" and "Ni-Hai Kai Lan;" Wales' S4C has picked up "Back at the Barnyard" (seasons 1 and 2) in Welsh; Kazakhstan's KTK for "SpongeBob SquarePants" (seasons 1 through 6), "The Penguins of Madagascar" (seasons 1 and 2), "Danny Phantom" (seasons 1 through 4) and "Fairly OddParents" (seasons 5 and 6); Albania's Digit-Alb for "iCarly" (season 1 and 2), "True Jackson, VP" (seasons 1 and 2) and "Big Time Rush" (season 1); and Slovenia's TV3 for "iCarly."
