Nickelodeon Consumer Products has teamed up with Toys"R"Us for a Last Airbender summer promotion in Canada, the U.K., France and Germany.

The TRU stores have released action figures and role-play items from Spin Master (master toy partner), as well as the movie's video game from THQ. In addition, the promotion includes exclusive in-store point-of-sale materials, online banners at Nick.com and a co-branded television commercial airing on Nick networks in the four territories. A discount promotion for the Spin Master toys will also be offered at U.K.-based stores.

The Last Airbender

has already hit Canada and France, and is scheduled to premiere next month in the U.K. (Aug. 13) and Germany (Aug. 19).

  • Viacom Brand Solutions International has partnered with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for a summer campaign and competition for PlayStation Portable. The Summer Tweens titled campaign includes brand spots and a sponsorship for the PSP Essentials game range released this summer.
