
Toys ‘R’ Us is teaming with Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Enterprises, creator of the “Beyblade” TV series (with partner d-rights) and Hasbro, make of the Beyblade battling game (with partner Tomy), for the event.
Thirty-two participants will face-off at each Toys ‘R’ Us location, and the winners will be entered to win a series of prizes.
Beyblade is a modern battling tops system inspired by traditional Japanese battling tops called "bei-goma." The newest chapter of the “Beyblade” TV series, called “Beywheelz,” began airing in Canada Saturday.
