Rocket Licensing announced a deal for Woodmansterne to produce greeting cards featuring Emma Thomson’s Princess Pearl, the heroine of a new series of books to be published this spring by Hodder Children’s books.

The Woodmansterne line incorporates Emma Thomson’s illustrations in a series of birthday cards aimed at girls ages one to 10.

“Emma Thomson already has an extraordinary reputation for publishing-related licensing success driven by memorable characters with a powerful appeal to their core audience,” says Charlie Donaldson, joint managing director of Rocket Licensing. “That’s why we expect Princess Pearl to be just as successful as her illustrious predecessors.”
