Cartoon Network Enterprises has signed Hybrid Apparel to produce a line of boys' clothing based on original action-adventures series "Generator Rex."

The collection for spring 2011 will include tops, long- and short-sleeved shirts, fleece and sweatshirts. Hybrid joins other Generator Rex partners Mattel (global master toy partner), Hallmark and DC Comics.

"Since its debut in April, 'Generator Rex' has become a top-rated action-adventure series that is poised to become a top license in the boys' action space," says Christina Miller, senior vice president at CNE. "This deal expands our strong relationship with Hybrid and its strong designs will serve as a core component to our multi-category launch next spring."

The series' first home entertainment title will hit on Oct. 19 from Warner Home Video.
