American Greetings Properties and agent Exim Character have signed Brazilian retailer Lojas Renner to a direct-to-retail deal for a Care Bears apparel line.
The Care Bears apparel will feature classic prints on tank tops, T-shirts, polo shirts, blouses, jackets and dresses. Lojas Renner is the second largest clothing retail chain in Brazil. It operates 126 stores.
"We know that the Care Bears are popular around the world because of their universal messages of caring and sharing," says Carla Neves, international licensing manager at American Greetings Properties. "Now Lojas Renner will bring those messages to Care Bears fans in Brazil. Special thanks to Exim Character for all of their efforts in putting this deal together."
