The Von Dutch clothing brand is expanding its reach around the world with newly established licensing programs and agent appointments in Latin America and India.

Royer Brands International has signed a new deal with Tycoon to develop a licensing program for the American brand Von Dutch in Latin America.

The partnership, which excludes Mexico and Brazil, will grow the Von Dutch brand, along with the spirit of Kenneth Howard (the man behind the brand), through core fashion products.

“We at Von Dutch are very excited to be working with such an established and well respected company as Tycoon Enterprises,” says Terry Hauss, chief executive officer, Von Dutch. “I have had the pleasure of working with Tycoon in the past and have always found them to be very honorable and always deliver positive results. I believe this is a win/win opportunity for both companies. Latin and South America are very important markets for Von Dutch and we welcome Tycoon Enterprises in identifying and signing new licensees and distributors.”

In India, Dream Theatre has been appointed to expand the Von Dutch brand in the region.

The Von Dutch program in India will include an apparel and accessory line for men and women that features watches, bags, accessories, denim and footwear.

“Indian youth have been increasingly believing in freedom of expression and have been voicing their views in cultural and political affairs alike. It’s an apt time to introduce a brand that embodies creativity and individuality so strongly,” says Jiggy George, chief executive officer and founder, Dream Theatre.
